Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 9, 2026.

Pastorly is a meeting-scheduling app for church staff and the members of their church. This policy explains what we collect, what we do with it, and what we never do.

What we collect

Google Calendar data

A staff member can connect their Google Calendar so members only see times they are really free, and so confirmed meetings appear on their calendar. Connecting is optional and is done by the staff member, never by anyone else. Pastorly asks Google for one permission, to view and edit events (calendar.events), and uses it only for these purposes:

The only calendar data we keep is the start and end time of busy periods, and only until it is refreshed or you disconnect. We keep an encrypted token that lets Pastorly act on your calendar until you disconnect.

Limited Use. Pastorly's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We use Google user data only to provide and improve the scheduling features described on this page. We do not use it for advertising, we do not sell it, and we do not allow people to read it except to provide the service, to comply with the law, or with your consent.

How we use your information

What we don't do

Who can see what

A member's meeting requests and notes are visible to the staff member they booked and to the administrators of their church. Staff calendar details are visible only to the staff member who connected the calendar.

Where data lives and how it is protected

The app runs on Cloudflare (United States). Data is stored in Cloudflare's database service and sent over encrypted connections. Google tokens are stored encrypted.
